Portrait Revival is rich from the first breath, built on cinnamon, honey, saffron and incense. Cinnamon is hot and sweet, honey is thick and golden, saffron adds a leathery, slightly metallic spice, and incense gives a dry, resinous smoke. Together they make a warm, spiced and sticky opening.
Tonka bean, oak and praline follow in the heart, bringing creamy sweetness, dry barrel wood and crunchy, toasted nuts. Date, sandalwood, caramel and dark chocolate then deepen the base into sticky fruit, creamy wood, burnt sugar and a bitter cocoa edge. The overall effect is dense and dessert like.
