Gathered from the rock-rose shrub as a sticky resin, labdanum smells warm, ambery and sweet, with leathery, slightly animal and honeyed tones. Labdanum is a core ingredient of amber accords and sits in the base. It adds a dark, leathery sweetness to a blend and pairs with vanilla, patchouli, incense and oakmoss, which share its resinous warmth.
